Lagos is an experience of a lifetime. The city is synonymous with culture and commerce, thereby making it perhaps the most central and visited city in Nigeria because of tales of its heritage, energy, and ability to combine business with pleasure through various day and nighttime activities. One or two weeks is a rather short time to spend in Lagos, but here’s how to make the most of it.

From the places to visit, and where to lodge, to the food, and the nightlife of the hustle and bustle city, our Guest fell in love with the energy of Lagos, and we bet you will too!

Seeking a guide for your Short Stay in Lagos? Our IJGB guest, Cynthia, has got a few tips to make your next short trip to Lagos one for the books!

  1. Book the best Short Stay Apartment

To enjoy your stay in Lagos, you have to stay in an apartment that provides you with automated amenities, so you don’t have to lift a finger, and also, one that is situated within the upper areas of Lagos, so that you can easily access the major hangout spots, beaches, art centers and more. Of course, Cynthia was wowed by the modern tech-infused furnishing of her apartment the moment she checked in. As she stepped into the apartment and said ‘hello’ to Siri, the lights came in the apartment came on and she Immediately requested her best song through our inbuilt voice automated device. Our inbuilt private cinema swept her off her feet!

2. Explore the Islands!

Cynthia is a lover of nature and the Island is filled with many cool spots surrounded by nature, she made sure to visit a few good ones. If you love nature, make a stop at the Lekki Conservation Centre, an oasis of nature with a suspended canopy walkway that rises over the reserve which is the longest in all of Africa. The canopy walkway features six towers that rise over 22 feet each.

3. Get a Taste of the Nightlife

If you love to club, Lagos would wow you! Our guest loves to club and also wanted to visit the Femi Kuti Shrine in Ikeja. Her friends helped her plan the night. First, they head to Ikeja by 9 pm, to catch Femi Kuti and his band at the New Afrika Shrine. After which, they went back to the Island for the proper clubbing that’s because you will the most lit clubs on the Island.

4. Try some locals dishes

Just like our Guest, connect with a few friends that can take you to some local joints to try out some Nigerian Delicacies. If you feel like having your food in the comfort of our Apartment, our Chefs are always on standby to serve you the best meals.

Visiting Lagos for a business trip or vacation and need a cozy, automated, and luxurious short-let apartment in VI or Lekki? The Double H is here for you!
